All right girls... amidst the 10 kids 5 and under chaos and the good food and the great conversation, I hope you got a little motivation to start on your Celestial University. Remember that we decided that we will each complete 5 goals by the beginning of August 2013. That gives us 3 months. And...if you have any great ideas or things you want to do together, let's get together!
Here are a few ideas that weren't in the book that I've decided to do....
THEOLOGY
1. read all the Sunday school lessons this year
2. help my 5 year old learn all the Articles of Faith
3. read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to my kids
What are you working on? Share your ideas too.

Fringe Scarf
http://www.lakelandlocal.com/2011/08/diy-fringe-scarf/
My neighbor had on a darling scarf similar to this the other day. They sound super simple to make, and I found this tutorial. Would anyone be interested in doing this for November klub? If you all ready have a different idea that's fine too.

Rose Party Dress
http://nestfullofeggs.blogspot.com/2012/06/purple-rose-party-dress-tutorial.html
I love, love, love this dress...so does Kate. I would love to make it for her (maybe a Klub opportunity) if I could find the fabric for pretty inexpensive. And to celebrate at a Klub .... we could make this cake :)

Timeout
{Marian, Emily, Trisha, Jeannie, Jana, Shelly, Hilary, Sandy}
What a wonderful time we all had at Time Out for Women (TOFW.com). Shelly was a wonderful Bed & Breakfast host and it was so nice to just be a mile from the University. I loved that we were all together the whole time and then could talk about each motivational speaker from our different perspectives. We want to go again next year, probably in February to Ogden, so if anyone else wants to join us we'd love to have you along.

Bread Demonstration
We got together and had Emily demonstrate her easier, homemade wheat bread. It was yummy, and fun to get together! (Emily uses the Baker's Secret 8x4 bread pans from Smith's.)
Whole Wheat Bread Recipe (makes 2 (8x4in) loaves)
3 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup gluten flour
1 1/4 Tbsp instant yeast
2 1/2 cups steaming hot tap water (120-130F)
1 Tbsp salt
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup honey or 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/4 Tbsp bottled lemon juice
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
Mix together first 3 ingredients in mixer with a dough hook. Add water all at once and mix for one minute (check the temperature of your water with a thermometer); cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Add salt, oil, honey or sugar and lemon juice and beat for 1 minute. Add last flour, 1 cup at a time, beating between each cup. Beat for 6-10 minutes until dough pulls away from sides of the bowl. This makes a very soft dough. (If the bread still is not pulling away and feels really sticky when touched, you may need to add extra flour. Add in slowly until reaches proper consistency, usually 1/2-1 cup more flour.)
Preheat oven for 1 minute to lukewarm (about 170 F) and turn off oven. Turn dough onto oiled counter top; divide and shape into loaves; place in oiled bread pans. Let rise in oven (that's warm but not on) for 10-15 minutes until dough reaches top of pans.
Emily made a huge batch, so all the loaves weren't quite raised to the top of the pan, but most were. Sorry this picture isn't good, but I was not allowed to open the oven to get a good picture.
Do not remove bread from oven; turn oven to 350 F and bake for 30 minutes. Remove bread from pans and cool on racks.

Angry Birds
Does anyone want to join the angry bird craze and make the game for ourselves? Kate insists we need to make this game so she can play, especially since her dad won't let her play his phone all the time. Great Klub idea, huh?http://www.makeandtakes.com/crafting-with-angry-birds

Drum roll please...
I'm excited to say that Carter's room is officially decorated to my liking and original plan. Well, I might hang things on the shelf hooks, but for now I'm pleased. The reveal...
Here's the shelf my mom and I refinished. Plus, my mom painted that rifle I bought at Wood Connections red. I needed a little color on the shelf.
So here's his room. I know the blessing outfit doesn't really fit the decor, but I love it displayed. Someday I'll change that, but for now I'm leaving it.

Crochet Hats
Jeannie made a bunch of samples so you can decide what you want to make. She just used scrap yarn she had at home. Jeannie has a lot of white and cream yarn if you just want to do your first one with scraps and buy later. We think these would be really cute with cotton (like Sugar 'n Cream).
Material: DMC crochet cotton #10
Hook Size: US5
Material: Sport yarn

Scripture Power!
Now we've got the cutest scriptures around. Who wouldn't want one of these to flaunt? Might be a great missionary tool.
Oh the joys of children and all involved with diaper changing! If you can see, check out Trisha's pant leg, and you can then guess what Emily just so happened to step in.

Eyelash Extensions
This post made me laugh because of the reminder of Women's Conference last year:
http://www.oneshetwoshe.com/2010/04/eye-lash-extensions-shes-jesica-and.html
Maybe we should all buy our own package of eye lashes, get together for Klub, and make ourselves beautiful again. It might be impossible with children running around though?

Yesterday we had a Freezer Meal Klub. We each made 6 freezer meals and then brought them and exchanged. I'm very excited to have this convenience, and hope that everyone else enjoys their meals. Here's what we swapped:
Bean Burritos
Manicotti
Chicken Broccoli Casserole
Cream Cheese/Italian Chicken
Chicken Enchiladas
Meat Mix (for sloppy joes, etc)
